The ferric chlorosis is a very common problem in a lot of crops and soil and agronomic conditions and its appearance minimizes the yield. The use of chelates is the most effective way to prevent and correct this alteration. The economic cost of the product represents an important ratio of the total cost of the production. There are different kinds of iron-chelating agents for all the environmental and soil conditions, mode of use… therefore, to choose the correct chelate is very important for optimize the costs. To this end, we have made a presentation explaining the ferric chlorosis, its causes and consequences, the products available according to the European Union legislation and what are the parameters to consider at the time of choose the iron chelate for optimize the EFFECTIVENESS, EFFICIENCY, PRODUCTION and PRODUCTIVITY.
